She also just released a new video for The Best Day. She shot the video as a Mother's Day gift for her mom. You Belong With Me is already heading up the charts. It's currently at #24 on the Hot Country charts. Taylor's only had one single so far that didn't break into the top five on the charts. Tim McGraw, her debut single from her first album peaked at #6 back in 2006. Enjoy!

How good was 2008 to Taylor? 2008 was as good as it gets for a musical artist in any genre. Taylor was the #1 selling artist in all music genres. According to this article on CMT.com, Taylor sold 4,003,000 units during 2008, which placed her in the #1 spot. The article goes on to break down her sales:

Swift had two of the Top 10 bestselling albums: Fearless, which ranked No. 3, on sales of 2,112,000 copies, and Taylor Swift, at No. 6, which sold 1,597,000 units during its second year on the charts. (Sales of Beautiful Eyes, Swift's CD/DVD package available exclusively through Wal-Mart, rounded out her grand total.)
